Connecting with friends

Geesh, how is it that the one person I kicked out of my life is the person I connect with most.  The connections are so close, so amazing, so loving and caring.

One of those lessons learned.  Thank goodness she took me back!

I had such an amazing day today. So blessed she is in my life!

If I ever become a hormonal crazy biotch again (darn you pmdd and pregnancy hormones!) , I am NEVER letting her go!

I hope everyone in her life realizes how amazing she is too.

If any of you have let someone go, and you are afraid to reconnect, cause maybe you were a jerk, and you are embarrassed of how you acted, get some balls and just do it already!  You know a great person when you see one, don't think your life will be fine without them, it won't!

at 17 I knew it all

at 17 i knew it all, then went through some years with embarrassing moments here and there, and now, Im asking for advice. How did I get so stupid?

You know in actuality you are smarter, you know so much more, but sometimes I feel as if I shouldn't even be writing a blog.

I wrote some insane ones in the past.  Ones that make me want to smack the writer in the face. Except I am the writer.

Should I write recipes, tips, and cute ideas?  How I really feel?  A mix?  I have no clue.

This is my honey turmeric stir-fry

It has about 1-2 tbs honey, a thick dousing of turmeric, and a drizzle of soy,  pork, rice and egg.

abscess going away!

Yay! Its going waaaay down!  The end is near! He doesn't feel any pain from it anymore. This is such a good feeling.

I just started reading "Heaven is for Real" last night and their kid had an INTERNAL abscess that they had to pump out from tubes inside his body and hold him down, which got me thinking, it could be so much worse and I should really be thankful that it's not worse.

hormone update

IT IS!

I feel great!

Of course I am upset with my baby being sick.  And a lot to keep up with in the house, disinfecting, budgeting, and well.... all the things that happen when you are a mom of two babies with no sitter or family to help out!

But before I was crying all the time, for no reason, and as my husband puts it.... had the gloves on.  You know, boxing gloves, when you have that "i wanna fight" attitude.

Thankfully I have a hubby that does not want to fight, and when he gets down I don't fight either, we know when we need to hold each other up.

But now there isn't so much of a burden on his shoulders, Yaz birth control works, and very well, I have even managed my weight better, it's easier to manage everything now.

I thank God he didn't make my son sick during that time of hormones imbalance. I can't even picture how bad I would get.

Bad things need to happen as well as good, and I must say God timed it well.

disinfecting the house

Today we are disinfecting in a major way.  The walls, floors (multiple times daily), furniture, clothing, bedding, dishes, and on and on.

We got the antibiotics yesterday.  The abscess is still hard but looks smaller and less red.

On a different note: we are out of most foods.  We are taking a huge paycut in a few weeks and I am afraid to buy anything. I have gotten really creative with our ingredients.

Today I am going to make homemade mac and cheese and shake and bake pork chops (leftover from when we had pork chops in the house).

Now we just have salmon, pastas, cheese, nuts and cereal.

Today I plan to get milk, eggs, and a vegetable or two, but I don't see how we can make it with two teenagers this weekend and no meat.

I may have to just bite the bullet and get some cheap chicken.

And teach teenagers how to disinfect the house!
